Men’s Ministry
Edgefield First Baptist's Men's Ministry actively fosters spiritual growth and community service. Our activities extend beyond simple fellowship, encompassing practical applications of their faith. The ministry engages in projects like building handicap ramps and light remodeling work, demonstrating a commitment to serving those with physical needs. Furthermore, we are dedicated to helping all men have an opportunity to study God’s Word and apply it to their families. These actions, combined with organized events and opportunities for fellowship, create a framework within which men can strengthen their connection to Christ through service and communal support.
Men’s Prayer Breakfasts
A church prayer breakfast offers men a dedicated space for spiritual nourishment, fostering deeper connections with God and fellow believers. It provides a focused time for reflection, intercession, and communal support, strengthening their faith and equipping them for daily challenges. They are usually held on the last Saturday of the month at 8:30am!
The next few breakfasts are 3/29, 4/26, and 5/31
Men’s Wheelchair Ramp Ministry
While ladies can certainly come and help, most of the workers are men! We go out into our community, in partnership with the Edgefield Baptist Association, and install permanent and temporary access ramps for those in need. This ministry has been ongoing for decades, and we enjoy helping. Contact the church office if you would like to get involved.
Fish Fry!
We do our best to have a fish fry every year! This event is always fun as we gather for good food and fellowship, and we always have someone bring a testimony/devotion so that we can learn from each other as we grow closer to Christ.
Titus Ten Bible Study
The book aims to equip men with the tools and principles necessary to become the godly men God intends them to be, and to lead other men on that journey. It draws upon ten key qualities and principles found in the Book of Titus, using them as a framework for developing godly manhood.
Starting September 7th and running for 10 weeks.
