Youth Ministry
The youth group at Edgefield First Baptist Church is a vibrant and active community where young people can grow in their faith and build lasting friendships. They participate in a variety of activities, from weekly Bible studies and worship services to engaging in community service projects and fun outings. The group emphasizes creating a supportive environment where teenagers feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to explore their spiritual journey while developing strong moral character.
Weekly Bible Studies
The youth gather Sunday mornings at 9 am and Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm for Bible studies. These are discussion driven and the youth are encouraged to participate and ask questions!
Special Events
From Carowinds to Movie nights, the youth have plenty of fun events throughout the year. The students can enjoy themselves in a safe and well-chaperoned environment as they have fun!
Greenjackets Baseball Game
Meet at the church at 6:15 and carpool with us to North Augusta for the game. Tickets are $10 and we can’t wait to see you there!
Bubble Soccer
Come and wreck your friends as we kick and tackle eachother all over the field!
Christmas Party
Wear your jankiest Christmas sweater and come hungry as we gather for food, fun, and fellowship in remembrance of Christ’s birth!
SummerSalt Youth Camp
This is one of the greatest opportunities our students have to grow closer to Christ each year. They will be led in Bible studies, games, and worship each day by college students who are on fire for Christ. The Cost will be $150 per student, but don’t let money stop you! We have scholarships and service opportunities to help offset the cost. June 22nd-26th, 2026
