Youth Ministry
The youth group at Edgefield First Baptist Church is a vibrant and active community where young people can grow in their faith and build lasting friendships. They participate in a variety of activities, from weekly Bible studies and worship services to engaging in community service projects and fun outings. The group emphasizes creating a supportive environment where teenagers feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to explore their spiritual journey while developing strong moral character.
Weekly Bible Studies
The youth gather Sunday mornings at 9 am and Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm for Bible studies. These are discussion driven and the youth are encouraged to participate and ask questions!
Special Events
From Carowinds to Movie nights, the youth have plenty of fun events throughout the year. The students can enjoy themselves in a safe and well-chaperoned environment as they have fun!
Beach Retreat!
Every June, our youth group heads to Garden City for a retreat like no other. The youth participate in games, worship, and small group discussions as they learn how to apply their faith to real-world situations.
Carowinds
The youth will meet at the church at 6 am and head to Carowinds. Lunch will be provided, and the students will be home at 6 pm. The cost is $50/student.
CCC
Churches Changing Communities is a community outreach project for all the youth! There are evangelism and construction projects available. Call the church if you would like to register.
Youth Beach Retreat
All youth are welcome for a week of fun at Garden City Chapel! This week-long trip will focus on building your child’s relationship with God and with other youth.
